At Hyde Tutoring our main focus area is entrance exams. Our tutors have extensive knowledge of the processes and what to expect. This can be hugely reassuring to parents, who often feel as if they are uninformed when it comes to the exam process. Above all, our expertise with entrance exams ensures children go in armed with the knowledge and confidence to succeed.
We tutor for all the major private and grammar schools; including, but not limited to: St Paul's, King’s College Wimbledon, Latymer Upper, City of London, Francis Holland, Harrodian, Westminster etc.
We work closely with school consultant, Charlotte Faber, an ex-headmistress and who helps support and guide parents through the application process. Charlotte Faber also gives all parents her personal phone number and email. So families can speak directly to her as well as their tutor for guidance throughout the exam tuition.
In addition to regular term time tutoring, Hyde Tutoring also offers revision courses in the school holidays. They take place in the Easter and summer holidays for the 7+, 8+ and 11+ exams. Each course lasts 2 weeks, taking place in either the morning or the afternoon, for three hours per day. These courses are competitive, fast-paced, and fun. We ensure the children are fully prepared for their exams. Parents receive thorough feedback from the course along with revision tips, so that they are more than prepared to guide their child through exams successfully.
