Hyde Tutoring was founded by Charlotte Hyde. After many years as a successful tutor, she was inundated with demand, purely through word of mouth. To meet this demand, she sourced other tutors who she was confident would teach to the same high level.
Hyde Tutoring specialises in exam preparation, predominantly for entrance exams. At Hyde Tutoring we have an extremely strong reputation for preparing children for the most competitive entrance exams. We have tutored children for schools such as Westminster, St Paul’s, and King’s College Wimbledon. Many of the children now at those schools were prepared by one of our tutors!
We also have a team of tutors who specialise in SEND tuition. Before founding Hyde Tutoring, Charlotte used to work with the local councils to support children with various additional needs from dyslexia, anxiety, ADHD and ASD, so SEND tuition is an area close to her heart. On the team we have experienced SENDCos, educational psychologists, tutors with MAs in Special Educational Needs, a mindfulness expert, and most importantly, tutors who are truly passionate about making a difference and helping children with additional needs.
Our tutors are flexible, they can travel to your home or online via platforms such as Zoom. They will work around your family’s needs and provide tuition that fits around your schedule, in an environment that suits your child. We cater to you and your children.
Charlotte believes it is key that tutoring programmes are individually tailored to each student’s educational needs to ensure success. Prior to commencing tuition, Charlotte will have a thorough conversation with all potential families or students.
Hyde Tutoring believes in offering exceptionally personalised service. Charlotte will always be available to chat or discuss your child's progress; every parent is given her mobile number and email address. We are passionate about each individual child’s success and progress.
We know that all children learn differently, therefore every child's tuition programme is catered to their personal needs, to ensure that they achieve the highest possible standards.
Hyde Tutoring Limited is legally defined as an “Employment Business”. As of January 2023 all tutoring businesses in the UK are required to define themselves as an “Employment Business” or an “Employment Agency”. We chose to opt for the former as it meant we can be more hands-on in supporting our tutors and the families we work with and this in turn means we can ensure the same high quality tuition is consistently provided. All our tutors are also provided with resources and training, from First Aid courses, to safeguarding, to academic training.
