English at 10+ up to A level, Maths at 10+ up to GCSE. Reasoning for 10+, 11+ and 13+ exams, including Wandsworth and Lambeth Tests. English tuition is my main area of specialism. I have also taught Hyde Tutoring’s English 11+ courses and reasoning 11+ courses. Most of my students are preparing for 10 and 11+ exams, so I know all the schools and what is required for success inside out.
I am also fluent in French and Italian. I am able to teach English, French and Italian to students learning any of those languages.
I only teach online, so I am used to using technology to make lessons more engaging, memorable and enjoyable for my students.
I love the one to one focus that can be achieved with private tuition, something which is so often lacking in larger classes. I love encouraging students to come up with ideas and reach conclusions themselves, rather than simply providing answers; this is a much more fulfilling and beneficial experience. I like to maintain a relaxed but focused environment to put students at ease, particularly the younger ones. I am very easy-going but also focused and organised to reach students’ goals!
