Since graduating in 2016, I have dedicated myself to tutoring, guided by a philosophy that emphasises hard work and the belief that with dedication, we can achieve any goal. This mindset, which fueled my own academic success, is what I strive to instill in my students. I believe in nurturing a child’s innate talents and building a strong framework for them to flourish, fostering self-assurance and capability, and empowering them to reach their full potential.
I specialise in preparing children for entrance exams to London’s leading grammar and independent schools. Under my guidance, students have gained admission to prestigious schools such as St Paul’s, Westminster, King’s College, Henrietta Barnett, Tiffin, Nonsuch, City of London, Latymer, Dulwich, JAGS, Alleyn’s, Wimbledon High, Putney High, Emanuel, Francis Holland and many more. In addition, many of my students have been offered academic scholarships in recognition of outstanding results in their entrance exams.
I teach maths, English, and reasoning at 7+, 8+, 9+, 10+, and 11+. Having successfully prepared students for exams at all these entry points, I have developed a thorough knowledge of the process. I also teach English language and literature through all of KS3 and KS4.
In addition to preparing students for exams, I have taught EAL to adults and children since 2018. examples of my EAL experience include: teaching conversational English to an adult learner (face to face), Cambridge International English Testing System (IELTS) qualification to a 10 year old in Beijing (for which he achieved the highest result possible) and I currently teach two French children (face to face) who attend bilingual schools (Belleville Wix Academy and Lycee Charles De Gaulle) as English is their second language.
