I teach English, Maths, Non-Verbal and Verbal Reasoning, and Humanities (including English, History, Religious Studies, and Classics) to students for 7+ and 11+ exams and from KS1 to KS3 levels. Additionally, I assist with UCAS university applications and drama school audition processes and lead drama and creative writing workshops.
My experience includes working with children who have learning difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, and autism, and my background encompasses training in child safeguarding, pastoral, and therapeutic care. I am committed to helping every child succeed and support my students in reaching their goals.
In my teaching approach, I prioritise creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment. I am dedicated to empowering students to explore and nurture their interests, talents, and creativity. While focusing on exam preparation and study techniques, my aim is to foster a genuine enthusiasm for the subjects I teach. By tailoring lessons to each student’s unique interests, pace, and needs, I strive to achieve impactful learning outcomes that promote growth, confidence, and achievement.
My passion for working with children emerged from volunteering with various London-based charities, where I was involved in frontline work and mentoring. Through tutoring and my work with young people, I hope to make a positive difference in the lives of all the students I support, helping them achieve their goals. I firmly believe in the power and value of education and am dedicated to opening doors for the children I work with, so they can benefit from the opportunities that education and learning offer.
