I teach English and Maths to student from Year 1 to Year 6, and English to secondary school pupils up to GCSE. I also have experience of tutoring 7+, 10+ and 11+ prep (including Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning), with one of my students recently gaining a place at Emmanuel College. I also speak basic French and Italian.
Alongside tutoring I am an actor and a playwright; my work has been performed at the Royal Court and Soho Theatre amongst other venues. I aim to incorporate creativity into tutoring to make it fun and engaging and to find new ways to engage students, especially SEND students or those that have been struggling at school. I believe it’s not only possible but essential to combine focus and fun in my tutoring sessions. In fact, the joy of one-to-one tutoring is getting to know a student’s personality, interests and learning style, so my sessions are always tailored to individual students, and ultimately focuses on empowering them to feel confident when approaching schoolwork and exams.
