I am currently working in the independent sector. Over the last three years, I have worked across a variety of curricula, including the EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This has allowed me to gain a broad understanding of subject fields, across all primary year groups. Currently, I am working with Year 4 and Year 5, preparing children for 11+.
I have been tutoring since 2021, predominantly focusing on maths, English and reasoning, providing a personalised approach and allowing for individual interests and needs. I prepare children for entrance exams from 7+ to 11+. I also work with a lot of SEND pupils, supporting children with needs such as ADHD, dyslexia and ASD. My fun yet diligent approach to tutoring empowers my students to feel confident in their abilities but also focuses on the importance of encouraging a growth mindset in order to stretch them to achieve their goals. I want to help to achieve lifelong learners, allowing students to thrive in their education.
