Bianca Rayne

Hi, my name is Bianca and I’m thrilled to tell you a bit about myself. Throughout my tutoring career, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 3 (KS3), covering a wide range of subjects. I am able to teach the full primary curriculum. I have had the privilege of working in many settings, from the London independent school sector, to a hospital in Vienna, to homeschooling, to 1:1 after school tutoring. I tutor in person and online via Zoom.

I also have experience in preparing students for the 11+ and 7+ exams, supporting them through the preparation process and helping them succeed in these crucial assessments.

One aspect that sets me apart as a tutor is my passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN) work and also a desire to support children who are going through difficult times in their lives and overcoming barriers (medically, academically and emotionally). I firmly believe that every student deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their learning challenges. Embracing a philosophy of learning through play, I’ve seen firsthand how a fun and engaging approach can ignite a love for learning in my students. I am dedicated to creating personalised, interactive and exciting lessons that keep my students motivated and eager to explore new concepts.

I used to work at a very well renowned independent school in west London, working 1:1 with for a deaf child. This experience opened my eyes to the importance of inclusive education and the impact of personalised learning. Witnessing the joy on the child’s face as they understood concepts and thrived academically inspired me to pursue private tutoring, where I could make a difference in the lives of even more students.

Following this role I became a homeschooling teacher for a child undergoing medical treatment in Austria. During this time, I learned the true meaning of adaptability and compassion. I was responsible for 100% of his education, ensuring he remained abreast with the UK curriculum (whilst also preparing him for 11+ exams!). I tailored lessons to accommodate the child’s needs while maintaining a sense of normalcy in their educational journey and building a smooth transition back into school life was challenging but successful and incredibly fulfilling.

My goal in teaching is to create a supportive, fun and encouraging learning environment. I understand that each student is unique, and I tailor my teaching methods to suit their individual learning styles. Whether it’s tackling challenging subjects, building confidence, or enhancing study and test-taking skills, I am committed to helping my students reach their full potential.
